Accidents attended by the municipal fire and rescue service, where traffic accident was the initiating event and at least one road vehicle was involved.

In this table mopeds, microcars and speed-limited cars for drivers under 18 are considered to be road vehicles.

The speed limit at the scene of the accident is only recorded for accidents which occur on a road or street, a road/railway level crossing, a bridge or a tunnel, and which involve at least one road vehicle other than a moped or microcar.

Damage as assessed by fire officer. An accident is considered to have led to an injury if a person is treated on scene by firefighters, police or ambulance personnel, if a person is transported to an emergency care facility or if a person dies at the scene of the accident.

Several types of vehicle can be involved in one accident, so the sum of the various types of accident may be greater than the total number of accidents.
